MahaRERA orders developer to honour stamp duty promise in allotment papers
· Reported by Times of India
MahaRERA held that a buyer who had paid Rs 1.6 crore remained an allottee even though the sale agreement was only notarised and not registered. The order matters for buyers and project lenders because stamp duty and registration undertakings in the allotment record can affect completion obligations and RERA exposure.
