Orders issued in Telangana on registration of 22-A properties
· Reported by New Indian Express
The Telangana government has ordered that open plots, houses and flats on government land that were barred from registration under Section 22-A can be registered if they have a valid layout, building or apartment approval from the competent authority and genuine, traceable registered link documents, with the transaction after the approval. Registration stays subject to any pending court case, and district-level committees (Collector, Additional Collector, District Registrar and HMDA/local-body representatives) have been set up to resolve issues in the registration process.
